Matthew Collins had put the war behind him and settled into a normal life. He was certain of the fact that after he had separated from the Marine Corps, the only thing he would ever aim his rifle at again would be paper targets. But a mysterious phone message from an elderly lady, a compelling and heart wrenching story of horror, and a beautiful ex-Secret Service agent would all conspire to lure him into a situation that would require him to resurrect the skills he had perfected in the battlefield.
Matt finds himself in an unenviable position of working with the forces of law and order, while at the same time crossing over the line of legality, all in an effort to do the “right” thing.
