'ANY ROAD UP'! is the sequel to Ricks’ 1st. book 'SO YOU WANT TO LEARN TO FLY SON? and , as before, is written in the first person, present tense so allowing the reader to be an unwitting passenger on some of Ricks’ early 'adventures' as a newly qualified Private Pilot. Not afraid to laugh at himself he writes 'as it is' with few holds barred. His accounts of the various flights are both amusing and also, for the 'student pilot', very 'instructional.
