An Autobiography
Anthony Trollope (1815 –1882) was a respected English novelists of the Victorian era. In 1878, Trollope told his son Henry that instructions for the publication of his autobiography were in a letter to be opened upon his death. The memoirs were published as written, except for a few passages (about two printed pages) which Henry suppressed. The footnotes are Anthony Trollope’s own additions/corrections. The first two chapters of this memoir were written in late 1875, and the third chapter in 1876.
Orley Farm
