To whom it may concern: Please retrieve a package I left at the Henneberger house. You will find it in the library in my favorite chair. I realize that this could be a bothersome errand but it is imperative that I have the package before nine o’clock the night of the 10th of June. Not having it is too dreadful to imagine.
-Faithfully Yours,
Professor Quincy L. Zinusser
“Do you realize where we are?” Constance asked.
“Yes,” Alice said. “Didn't I just tell you? We’re locked in a library with no way out but a door with an angry mob on the other side. ”
Constance nodded. “Exactly! No, I mean- do you realize which library this is? It’s the library the note talked about. We’re in the Henneberger House and this is its library. So all we have to do is find this professor guy’s favorite chair, get the package, and then…”
When Alice and Constance find a note in the library, it leads them to hidden tunnels and hundred year-old rooms. Will they be able to get the package to the professor in time? And why does he need it so much?
