Alcatraz To Liberty

We all need dreams. We all need goals. In writing this account of my cycle trip across the United States, I hope to inspire others to follow their own dreams, to achieve their own goals. Fulfilling my own long-standing ambition of cycling from San Francisco to New York City, tackling some of the most inhospitable terrain that the continent could throw at me and meeting some of the most hospitable people that you could ever hope to meet, has been a life-changing experience. Life has taken on a very new meaning ever since I have lived and cycled through Disappointment Valley and come out the other side relatively unscathed.
