    About

Eat healthy and help fight your ADHD with a clean diet.

Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder, ADHD, is a chronic illness that is mainly associated with children. However, many adults are afflicted with ADHD as well and have often gone undiagnosed for years. Unfortunately, more children are being diagnosed with this problem each year.

In the United States, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimate that 11% of children between the ages of 4 and 17 have been diagnosed with ADHD as of 2011. There has been a gradual increase over the years, from a figure 7.8% in 2003 to an increase of 9.5% in 2007 to the 2011 rate of 11%.

The average age for being diagnosed with ADHD is seven years old, but the American Academy of Pediatrics, AAP, claims that children as young as four years old can be diagnosed with this condition. Usually when younger children are diagnosed with this affliction, their cases are more severe.

    What others are saying:
“I’m a mother who constantly worries about my children. My child suffers from ADHD and when he takes his medication he changes into a different person. He just loses his character the person who makes him himself. I now have turned to food and this diet has done just that. Brought my baby boy back!” –Charleston Tucker

“ADHD is not a joke. I have had it since I was a child. The medicines works but believe me you don’t want to take a pill everyday. With the diet provided in this book I found myself taking a lesser dosage from my medication. Which really does help because that medicine really does take a toll on you. Great read for those who suffer from ADHD!” – Anthony Jenkins
