A Quiet Life of Crime: A crime thriller by Logan Collins

Peter Knowles is a Glasgow solicitor, his company car is stolen and, his boss Ellen McKinnon is charged with the theft. When Peter agrees to represent her, he is dismissed from his firm and the involvement of the Glasgow underworld and corruption within the Police force start to come to light. Helped by two serving police officers in Glasgow, Peter and Ellen are placed in a safe house which is then burnt to the ground in an attempt to prevent the evidence that they have coming to court.
