A mystery play set in the remote Lincolnshire Fens in the 1950s. A young signalman is deputed to take over the running of the Begley Fen signal box for a night but is as normal as would appear at first sight.?
His conversation with the resident signalman subsequently opens up a web of illicit relationships, unexpected twists, coincidences and intrigue resting between their two families over a passage of time that is now only known by one person with revenge on his mind.
