Grace let out a shaky breath and tried to relax. Which was hard, under the circumstances. Don’t panic, just think. Number one - Am I hurt? She thought this one over. Actually, aside from a headache Grace didn’t feel too bad. A good sign maybe? Right - what happened? This one was a bit of a blur. Grace had been doing a spot of retail therapy, and had been loading her purchases in to her car, skinny latte in hand when....Grace didn’t know what happened next. That was the blurry part. OK, so where was she? Excellent question, but she was blindfolded so she had no idea.
When Grace O'Reilly is kidnapped she is sure her Ray would do anything to rescue her. When he fails to turn up for the ransom drop and negotiates a new deal with her kidnapper, she realises her husband isn't the man she thought he was.
Jase Parker thought it would be a straightforward job - kidnap Grace, get the money off Ray, hand her back. Simple. But soon Ray is holding all the cards, and Jase finds himself racing against the clock to save his little brother.
Jem Parker fakes a dental appointment to get out of school early and ends up becoming his brother's unwilling accomplice. All he wanted to do was get out of double maths and now he finds himself being the pawn in a high stakes game.
Ray O'Reilly didn't become a successful business man by giving in to the likes of Jase Parker, and if Jase wants the £100,000 he's going to make him work for it. And if Jase doesn't do the job, Ray's got another incentive in the back of his van.
