Tired of sewing up seams after finishing a knitting project! Look no further. These sweater patterns are completely seamless! Also, does starting new working yarns - several times - throughout a project cause a feelings of dread? For the body of this sweater, you will start and end with the same working yarn!
These patterns are original designs. Let your small K-9 be the trendsetter for the neighborhood and trips both far and wide! And while your little furry friend looks as cute as can be, they will also be sporting an outfit that is both warm and functional!
Knit from bottom to top. You will knit back and forth and then in the round.
There is no seam up the front of the chest!
You don't have to cut working yarn throughout body of the sweater pattern - the yarn you start with is the working yarn you will finish the body of the sweater with!
Ribbing around leg and belly openings are the only points where you have to start a new working yarn. They are worked by picking up stitches after body has been completed.
Finishing is as simple as weaving in ends - There is no sewing!
These sweaters are not just for show. They are anatomically designed so dogs can actually to do their business while wearing them! Males and females!
These patterns are for a smaller breed of dog. The patterns are for size small only. For a Miniature Schnauzer, Scottie, Jack Russell, Pug, etc. The dogs pictured are between 15 and 16 pounds. They are all Miniature Schnauzers. A slightly smaller or a slightly larger dog should do fine with these sweaters.
For all of the sweaters pictured, I used worsted weight yarn - 5 stitches per inch. Wool yarn provides an even warmer sweater!
Directions are given for either 2 circular needles or for double-pointed needles (sets of 4 or 5)
Get ready to dress your pooch up!
