Welcome to Vintage Visage patterns on Kindle
This is a pattern inspired by Victorian and Edwardian hug me tight waistcoat jackets which were most likely made to to keep the central body warm in those years before central heating! This type dates from 1910-12 which is the era of the first Downton Abbey TV series, and also the Titanic era. This is a pretty little example and is in fact deceptively easy to make. You can make it in one colour for a classic look, or in stripes of lots of colours for a funky modern look (and use up left over yarns too!). We give step by step instructions and also give them in both UK and USA crochet terms. The kindle reader is fast becoming the needlewomans friend as you can store so many patterns on it and its nice and handy to pop nto the project bag....
