Funthink is a hands-on methodology that applies fundamentals of the visual arts for creative problem solving and clear communication of ideas. It can be used as a curriculum by educators or as a guide for individuals in learning the four step creative problem solving process using 12 creative thinking tools while working on thought engaging challenges. The author draws on over forty years of personal experience as a designer/sculptor/inventor with industry leading companies as well as current pedagogical research and also from teaching creative thinking in classrooms grades third to adult ed. Previous art experience is not necessary. Individuals work at their personal level of competency where original thinking and idea communication is what matters.
