[Note: This book was written by a 11 year old kid for other kids of ages 8 to 12.] After finding the Trident of the Ocean, Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades embark on a journey to the Underworld on their next quest to obtain the Stygian Helm of Invisibility, made of the strongest Stygian Ice from the River Styx, and to find the true God of the Underworld.
The three twelve-year olds encounter monsters and immortals everywhere, from the despicable Furies to a raging bull-man, from the frightening three-headed giant dog, and then to the ruthless Titaness daughter of Oceanus herself. It seems as though all of the bad guys in the Underworld are out to find the trio!
Well, the carnivorous Stymphalian Birds are actually out to devour their flesh, to be exact.
A new Olympian is rescued, and becomes their ally in the War of the Underworld, as well as the three gods of death, sleep, and dreams.
One thousand to seven. Not a good chance of victory, especially with Styx at her strongest. Will Zeus and his friends fail? There’s no doubt.
Unless the true God of the Underworld does something about it.
