This is a Christmas tale with a difference. Forget about nativity stories and Santa and his reindeers, this is a Christmas story all about two cheeky monkeys, Itch & Scratch. When they escape from the zoo (and the usually watchful eye of the monkey-keeper, Sam), they have fun and frolics all over town.
They fly around on a skateboard, unable to stop and end up crashing into a Christmas tree. Wearing the poor fairy’s crown and booties, the two mischief makers hide in the sparkly Christmas tree amongst the baubles.
Mrs Prim (with all her Christmas shopping) is not amused by the naughty monkey’s face-pulling and rude noises but the children are. Sam comes up with an idea to catch the monkeys but suddenly, Bert the Bulldog appears and it’s clear he’s in the mood for a monkey chase.
Itch and Scratch get scared. Sam chases Bert, the children chase Sam, Mrs Prim (and her Christmas shopping) tries to keep up with the children. Itch and Scratch make a run for it and end up in a rubbish bin.
Will these mischievous monkeys ever get back to the safety of their home? Will the children ever stop laughing? Will Mrs Prim ever smile again? Find out in this slapstick, hilarious story that will entertain fertile imaginations from 5 to 95. Click the Look Inside button to see them in action!
