A journey through my childhood Leominster

A graphic account of life on the wrong side of the tracks during the first half of the Twentieth Century.
In the spring of 1994, after living away from the market town of Leominster in Herefordshire for over forty years, I returned to again take up residence. Of course, my circumstances were completely different than when I left to join the Metropolitan Police as a sixteen years old cadet in 1953. I was now a mature man who had experienced most of the excitement, pleasure and pain that life had to offer and reached the peak of my chosen career.
