Escaping from the German Democratic Republic and into life as a refugee. To Austria, then back to Germany. The language was the same, but Germany and Germany were not the same. This is the year when little Edi´s life changes drastically. Her new home is called "regugee camp" - for nearly nine months. Today, in 2010, that´s a really short time. But back then, for Edi, ist was an eternity.
