Silent Voices are true stories of people affected by gang violence on the streets of Peckham, London, England. The stories are based around the murder of Anton, a young man who was shot in a cold staircase by those who he thought were his friends. Each story is told through the eyes of those involved, his mother, members of his gang, a sister, girlfriend, his teacher, the judge, his surgeon and the investigating officer. The stories are an amalgam of true stories of those on the front line of gang violence.
