This is not a reference book. There are many exciting 500+ pages SQL reference books out there. This book contains only bite-size tips and tricks.
This book is written by a developer and of course most likely from a developer point of view. I know there are DBAs who may or may not 100% agree with all the solutions that I proposed in the book. Sometimes even DBAs do not 100% agree with each other.
The examples and some topics are in Transact-SQL (T-SQL) for Microsoft SQL Server. However, most of them also apply to other SQL databases.
All queries have been tested in SQL Server 2014 and checked in as Gists in GitHub.
