Charlie Carson’s Career: A Story of Baseball

Sixth-grader Charlie Carson has a problem. He's good in school and good at baseball, but there's one kid who won't stop bothering him. The problem is Scotty Lamb, the annoying kid who controls everything. Every time Charlie looks around, there's Scotty messing things up. Charlie and Scotty are on the same Little League baseball team, the Seals, but Scotty wants Charlie to blame Jacob for all the problems. Will Charlie betray his best friend Jacob and do Scotty's bidding? Or will Charlie use the things he has learned in baseball to be brave and overcome Scotty's interference? Charlie's baseball team is playing the Pelicans for the Big Gulch Little League Western Division title, so the question is: Will Charlie come through in that game and defeat all his rivals?
