    About

is there a difference between genius and prodigy during childhood? Are the über-talented youth that perform beyond the highest standard deviation the ones that make the leap from prodigy to genius come adulthood, or can a genius simply…manifest itself?
There’s this question circulating between the academic and scientific communities regarding the idea that genius is something that the environment made rather than something the individual was born with; several longitudinal studies have been conducted and the conclusion yielded results stating that a higher IQ merely makes one intelligent, not a genius—genius has something more, and the question of what “more-ness” a genius has that others do not has now become the focal point of most discussions—I’m calling it The Genius Debate.

Imagine the most unique case study in the Nature vs. Nurture debate: This is the childhood story of two intellectual geniuses and a creative one, and how each of their "natures" were shaped differently by their constantly changing environments. Does talent matter to success, is it age-based—are some people born to be destined for greatness, or can it be manufactured—can it be created from the most fundamental characteristics of personality?
