The ivy league is synonymous with greatness. The best colleges in the world naturally will have the best students in the world. It seems that in this day and age where brands are everywhere and everything, college is certainly not an exception. My work in college counseling always starts with making a plan to get the student into the best college they can. The dream for most great high school students is to get into one of the ivy league colleges.
What are exactly are the Ivy league colleges. It’s a group of eight colleges that form “their league.” Both athletically and academically, colleges across the country belong to a conference and/or league. This is a way for similarly focused colleges to compete against each other and work with each other to bring out the best.
There is fierce competition amongst the colleges within the Ivy League, they all want to be the best in everything they do from athletics to national scholars. To attract and enroll the best possible candidates is the main priority for each college’s admissions cycle where they are choosing from thousands of applicants hoping to gain a coveted admissions spot.
My intent with this book is to show you and explain the tips that I use with students who have been accepted into Ivy League colleges. I have over ten years of college counseling experience and have had many ivy league acceptances. Sometimes it’s not from the expectant applicant, but from the student we applied a specific strategy and plan for.
