KEYTRUDA (pembrolizumab) injection is used to treat melanoma (a type of skin cancer) that cannot be treated with surgery or that has spread to other parts of the body in people who were not treated successfully with ipilimumab (Yervoy) or other medications used to treat people who have a specific type of melanoma tumor. An improvement in survival or disease-related symptoms has not yet been established.
