The Lindop Family Tree

The Lindops can trace their family history back to the very first household who lived in Lindop Wood, Derbyshire in the thirteenth century. This book records some of the family who lived in Derbyshire and later in Cheshire. The book lists genealogical information on 171 members of the Lindop Family and concentrates on those who lived in or near Nantwich, Chester, Church Lawton and Hatherton. There is also reference to some Lindops who lived in North Shropshire and North Staffordshire.
