Evelyn James is best known for her historical non-fiction, but has always had a passion for telling stories. She has written for the Daily Mirror and has had short stories featured in a number of anthologies, along with being long-listed for the prestigious Asham Award in 2010. She came second place in the Rider Haggard Literary Award for her short story on the perils of immortality and will soon be featured in the Great Escape short story anthology.
