Do you believe in ghosts? It is easy to say “Of course not!” when the sun’s out and you are among friends and family. It is another thing entirely when you are alone in the dark, with no company but your own thoughts . . . and fears.
When we think of ghosts, we usually think of them as being in certain places, unable to leave their familiar surroundings. Sometimes, ghost stories are just that, stories without substance, just like ghosts themselves. Other hauntings are not so easy to dismiss, either because so many people have reported seeing them, or because of the reliability of the witnesses. Who wants to question the reliability of a witness to a haunting if that witness is someone like the president of the United States? In the end, each of us must decide for ourselves what to believe about what is called the supernatural.
So gather round, turn the lights down low, and learn about some very odd events.
