A Mouse Christmas – a short Thanksgiving tail

Nine-year-old Phoebe discovers more about life and loving than she bargained for when she's home with the flu the day before Thanksgiving and a pregnant wood vole enters her life, seeking shelter from an early winter storm. She must become the creature's protector because her mother is terrified of mice. And Thanksgiving day brings new surprises from her parents as Phoebe successfully conceals the mouse with the help of a next-door neighbor who joins them for Thanksgiving dinner.
