Alberta-born and raised, new author/illustrator, Gloria-Jean has enjoyed developing and expanding her creativity and innovativeness throughout her multi-faceted and very exciting life. In the spring of 2015, Gloria-Jean retired from her lifelong, busy career. She now resides in Kelowna, B.C. with her loyal, furry friends, BB (Big Boy, her cat) and Snuggles (her dog) as she enthusiastically starts a new chapter of her life. Not being blessed with children of her own, Gloria-Jean decided that she would like to help to be a positive influence for families, by becoming an author, as a way to share the joy of God’s love. Her strong faith and belief, in a loving and generous God, lead her to decide upon creating an Activity-Colouring book for children. Hence, her first book, “Let’s Celebrate Love” was born! It was created with much love and based upon biblical scripture, 1 Corinthinans, Chapter 13, Verses 4-8 to lead children to a true understanding of love, in a simple, fun and visual manner with the examples that are illustrated within the book. Gloria-Jean looks forward to continuing this creative undertaking, as a way to fill her days with love, peace and contentment.
