Albert Molive is an ordinary boy who lives in the ordinary town of Mullingus Mullins. Except this town isn’t ordinary, it’s built on the very top of a mountain in the middle of a very large mountain range, miles away from anywhere. Albert’s family run a fruit and vegetable shop called ‘Banananana’ (the spelling was a mistake made by the sign writer that has never been fixed) and Albert helps out by making deliveries to the residents of Mullingus Mullins.
One day he makes a startling discovery in one of the houses where he has been delivering fruit. The deliveries are not ordered and paid for by a person, they’re paid for by a crow! In fact, the person who used to live there isn’t exactly around any more.
This is just the start of a life-changing series of events in Mullingus Mullins, in which the town nearly collapses, all the money in the world is lost and worst of all the beer machine in the pub has broken.
How will the town cope with all this? One man has the answer, a man called Andrew Fireblight.
This book is the first in a series about Albert Molive and the residents of Mullingus Mullins, telling the story of the highest, remotest and possibly the coldest town in the world.
