A colorful journey through time & Christmas legends about Santa Claus. Getting back to earlier Christmas times, before Christ seemed to be X-ed out of X-mas. This is a book about the German Christkindl traditions, or wandering Christ-child lore, with art works, & writings, set in a poem. It's about a fictional family Christmas reunion where miracles take place in the wild wooded areas. The wandering Christkindl comes to visit them in different guises. The Great Grand Dad helps the children understand the origins of Santa Claus and how earlier versions of the story are about Christ's world wide treks to other nations. How that Christkindl is one of the original gift givers. This is a poem story that is not only educational, but uplifting & take on a loving spiritual energy of its own.
