The Village Square Christmas Tree is a touching and memorable Christmas story that takes place in a small village square. It wasn’t a very big tree but it surely wasn’t very small, and by Christmas tree standards it was just the right size to stand in a village square. Most importantly, this specific Christmas tree was adored by all who lived there.
Each year during the Christmas season the villagers both young and old, from baby brothers and sisters to grandmothers and grandfathers would visit this tree and bring at least one beautifully handmade ornament they’d made especially for hanging upon its strong and proud branches.
The villagers loved this tree, for it contained their unique family-like spirit. They sang traditional Christmas carols in front of it day and night and passerby’s couldn’t help but stop and join in the merry festivities. Those were grand days!
