Happy Halloween! This is the perfect time of year to read about Coco’s adventures at the Monstertown Halloween festival.
Coco has just moved to Monstertown and is excited about making new friends. Unfortunately though, his first day of school doesn’t go so well. Coco quickly discovers that he isn’t like the other monsters. His classmates are scary, have big teeth, and roar ferociously. Since Coco isn't scary at all, the other monsters laugh at him and call him a teddy bear.
On the day of the Halloween festival, the monsters go on a field trip to the event, and Coco's classmates can't wait to compete in the Scariest Monster Contest. Not wanting to be laughed at, Coco hides someplace where nobody will find him. But as it turns out, somebody does find him, and Coco strikes up a surprising new friendship.
When disaster strikes the festival, Coco and his new friend act quickly to get the situation under control. Once the danger has passed, everyone realizes that there is more to life than being the scariest monster, and Coco learns the importance of being himself.
Through a series of colorful, character-rich illustrations, this whimsical story comes to life in a burst of personality that is sure to leave a smile on your face.
