Fairies and other such Folk is part of a series of children's books about a little girl befriended by a magic pegasus. In Fairies and other such Folk, Mekore and Drago take Cassie and Andrew to Fairyland. However, no fairies are anywhere to be seen until Andrew learns, after being turned into a frog, that you judge a fairy by the magic it creates, not by how it looks. Once the fairies appear they surround Andrew instead of Cassie and Cassie learns that you can't be jealous in Fairyland for it make the fairies disappear. Then they learn that fairies, like humans, come in all colors, sizes, and shapes, and wear all different kinds of clothes, but that each must be treated with respect.
