JACKPOT BLOOM is a a graphic novel (full-length comic book) made for the middle-grade reader. The story centers on a 9-year-old tennis phenom who is the best in the world. He and his peers (phenoms in their respective sports such as boxing, weight-lifting, high-jumping, etc) are forced to compete in high stakes, underground athletic events.
Themes in the book include bullying, friendship, fitting in, and overcoming great obstacles.
