Here’s what people are saying about PREDATORS
“Awesome facts and photos – my kids are hooked on this book” ~ Cindy Larson
“Scary cool!” ~ John Thompson
A predator in the animal kingdom is an animal that eats other animals for food. For example, a coyote may kill and eat a jackrabbit. The coyote is the predator and the jackrabbit is the prey. Predators eat meat and are called carnivores. All of the creatures listed in my book are predators. They can be as small as a spider and as large as a grizzly bear. Predators can be found all over the world in almost any habitat. They are not always the bad guy. Predators help keep the ecosystem in balance. If there were no African Lions, then there would be too many Zebras. If there are too many Zebras, then there would not be enough plant life for insects. The Zebras would eat all the plants.
