The Lark is a magazine for kids which aims to compliment and add further dimension to the diverse world of learning experiences available to children.
The publication includes regular segments on the history of story-telling, introductions to authors from the past, a fun look at the practices of philosophical enquiry, as well as mythology, songs, spoken word, riddles, plays and more.
The magazine seeks to create a sense of our past for readers, in a way that is humorous and enjoyable, in the hope of generating curiosity and discussion about the world we live in, where we have been, and where we are going. Each edition will contain work from both adults and children, artists and writers, all at various stages of their careers as professional creators. The project is borne of a deep commitment to supporting creators and welcomes submissions, especially from children.
