I heard Tony’s voice behind me. He was asking what I was doing but I tuned him out, trying to focus on the man. The it-turned-out-to-be-a-man man was tossing and catching a small ball that looked like it was made of metal. Nothing went through my head about what it might be. Not a single suspicion occurred to me about what it might be, until he tapped it twice and hurled it down towards the main hall before taking off, running.
“RUN!!!!!” I screamed, slightly overreacting. I managed to turn my face away just in time as the bomb exploded, wreaking havoc.
Ringing echoed in my ears as I pushed myself off the ground, my face covered with soot. Everyone was shouting as they ran around. I saw the tutors and senior spies taking some weapons while some newer spies ran out the exit. “Rossetta!!!” I heard Tony cry out behind me. I turned and saw him covered with soot as well. He was running towards me.
“We need to get so-”
Tony was cut off by another explosion. This time, a giant metal spider emerged from the dust of the explosion. With a mechanical roar, it began tackling spies who were struggling to evacuate at the moment.
I looked up to see Ms. Harper frantically running about. She didn’t seem worried about the base. She seemed more worried about who had planned the attack.
I realized that the base was quite resistant. Two explosions already and no crumbling walls at all.
The senior spies meanwhile were trying to bring the metal spider down when a scream ripped through the air. I whipped my head around to see Violet grappling with another metal spider that was trying to bite her.
“VIOLET!!!” I screeched, paralyzed with fear.
Rossetta Sparks: The Capturer
It’s currently the year 2035, in which lived a not-your-average girl, Rossetta Sparks, aged 12. She lives in Miami, Florida, with her parents and her robot friend in an ultra-modern 3 story bungalow. At first glance, you may think that she’s just an ordinary kid, but she’s much more than that.
Besides going to school every day, she also goes to her secret spy agency headquarters regularly. All was well, until the headquarters was thrown into havoc because of a single person, a betrayer. And it’s up to Rossetta to accomplish the vital mission.
Will she make it back alive? And who is the supposed betrayer? Well, there’s only one way to find out…
Arianna Kay is a young 12-year-old schoolgirl who devotes most of her spare time to creative thinking and imagining. Having nowhere else to put this creativity to use, she writes books and doodles. Her hobbies include reading books, singing, drawing, and dancing. She lives in an oversized double-story terrace house with her little sister and parents who encourage her to write.
In school, she strives to be the best and excels in all her subjects, with the English Language being her favorite. Most of her friends also encourage her to continue writing, as they enjoy reading her stories.
Arianna mainly enjoys writing because it enables her to be free, lost in her own world of imagination and wonders.
