Who I Am is a story about a little girl who realizes that there are no similar physical characteristics among her and her family members. After struggling inwardly to find a logical explanation, she comes to the conclusion that she is adopted. Although the evidence appears quite obvious, she stills wants to confront her parents. While she is debating about when will be the right time to approach them, she meets a little girl who is adopted. The mere presence of the little girl makes her feel special. With newfound confidence, she asks her parents, and finds out that she, too, is adopted. Much to her surprise, she also finds out that although she looks different from the rest of the family, she is a lot like them in many ways. In the end, she experiences feelings of joy towards the very special family she was adopted into.
