Bakhta Han is the true story about a little, poor girl in the south of Xinjiang. She walked the streets begging with her blind father. You will be taken back to the market full of buzzling sounds and smells and you will get a feeling for what Xinjiang was like in the early 19th century and what it was like to be poor. But you will also meet the hope in her story. Not only did they meet with a good doctor and some Swedish good and kind people who loved the people and had a school and a hospital in the city. Bakhta Han also met her Very Best Friend and Saviour and that changed her life. This is her story.
