As a Native American growing up in mid-twentieth century South Carolina, Freida Stroble endured hardships many will never know. South Carolina only recognized two races of people, white and black. As a result Native Americans were barred from attending white churches and schools. Despite rejection for most, the Native American community built their own church. In this book, Freida relives being an outsider in her own land, being ridiculed and enduring racism. Through these trials God instilled character in Freids, and gave her a heart to administer to the downtrodden and forgotten. While man meant it for evil, God meant all this for His own good. This book shows that through faith in Christ, we are more than conquerors.
