Some things in life are so constant and permanent we often just as-sume they will always be that way. Such was my relationship with Dr. Howard C. Williams.
Doctor Williams belonged to that select group of individuals who were larger than life. He was a brilliant, caring man who touched the lives of just about every person in Orange County in one way or anoth-er. Few people have ever meant so much to so many for so many dif-ferent reasons, as did Howard. He was a much beloved and respected man. In fact, I had so much respect for him I didn’t address him by his first name. I just called him “Doc”.
