This is a short story Helen Grant was commissioned to write by artist June McEwan, for a youth arts project. The story had to be about MacRosty Park in Crieff, Scotland, and suitable for a family audience. It was subsequently used as the starting-point for a short animation created by young artists. The action of the story is based on the real life history and topography of the park, although the characters are of course fictional.
