"Living in so many places you realize that there is no paradise that exists on its own. Paradise is what you imagine it to be. For some it would be palm trees and white sandy beaches and drinks with little umbrellas in them – maybe most, in fact. For others it’s a pine forest on the edge of a lake surrounded by steep valleys with snowcapped peaks in the background. It is what you make it – and it’s different for everyone. Living in paradise doesn’t rob me of this. It’s not like it shatters the image I had of paradise and it turns out it’s just a home like any other home – though it is... ...You can keep the mystery. You can keep the magic. All you have to do is remind yourself every now and then, “Oh my gosh, I live in paradise.” It works. It’s best if you say it out loud."
