Bayonne is a city located in southwestern France at the confluence of the Nive river and the Adour river near the Bay of Biscay, and is a major crossroad of the French Basque Country which has unique culture.
The Sainte-Marie Cathedral built in the old town has been named to the UNESCO list of heritage as the Routes of Santiago de Compostela. We can see its two bell towers which are 85m in height from everywhere of the town and it has been a symbol of Bayonne.
