    About

With the South West Coast Path completed, two friends deliberated where to choose for their next walking holiday. How about somewhere different? How about somewhere exotic? How about somewhere foreign? How about Wales?

But with countless people advising them where to walk that summer and with neither of them speaking a word of Welsh and with unseasonably hot weather forecast, had they made the right decision?

On a hot August day they set off to walk the 180 miles of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, starting from somewhere unpronounceable and finishing at a little place called Amroth, passing on the way lots more places they would struggle to enunciate.

Wales, a proud land with a proud past; a land steeped in history, a land of myths and magic, castles and cromlechs, dragons and double consonants, male voice choirs and Aled Jones.

Follow their adventures as they search for ice cream vans and a Welsh dictionary, asking such pertinent and profound questions as:
What is happening inside my knee?
Is there such a thing as too much ice cream?
How long does fruit cake keep for?
Do piccalilli and chocolate spread really go together?
Is that a Class A drug in your rucksack?
Where can I buy a postcard?
And just how do you pronounce a twelve letter word that doesn’t contain a single vowel?

    Reviews:
'It's a tour de feet! Seriously though it is excellent - a good, interesting and informative read. It held my interest to the end.'
Peter Davies, Character Cottages St. Davids.

'This second e-book is equally amusing as the first. If you have not walked this path here is an ideal introduction written in a light-hearted manner.'
    Les Maple, Cotswold Ramblers Group.
