Your journey begins right here.. right now... Follow in the footsteps of an artist exploring a world of creativity and dreams. Many feel this world has a core of inspiration deep inside, in the dreams we feel and the desires we shape, all we need do is listen to our hearts - this book seeks to illustrate the journey of the artist deep within.
This is a stand alone book but it does carry on with the same creative journey into another book ‘Something in the Light’ that I am putting final touches to now. All my poetry and art in this book has been compiled into loosely held chapters that follow on from each other to tell an inspirational story, each chapter has an introduction that sets the mood for the following pages.
Creating a unique book - I have drawn a lot of inspiration from artists like William Blake, Edgar Allan Poe, Salvador Dali and many others. I spent days sketching ideas directly from William Blake's artwork - one of his poems 'Tyger' I have included in this book as a dedication to him; the artwork recreated and totally re-drawn - painted fresh in large resolution.
Are you ready for the artist’s rite of passage through life... this story is listening to the Earth each day, waiting for you, looking to give meaning to what is found - In a world where many feel a sense of social isolation this book seeks to re-connect with something deeper in life, looking with a new set of eyes.
