Lynn Howells was born and brought up in the Rhondda Valley. He never played rugby at the highest level, but did coach at the very top with Wales, and helped to produce some of the biggest names to grace the game in recent years.
He was appointed one of the five regional coaches when Wales turned to regional rugby, only to see his team, The Warriors, disbanded after just one year in controversial circumstances. In this book he reveals all about that sad chapter in Welsh rugby history.
Despite his involvement in rugby taking him to Italy, Scotland, England and more recently Romania, he has never lost his passion for Wales and his home town of Maerdy where he still lives.
Lynn is respected amongst his coaching colleagues and former players who hold him in the highest regard.
