A guidebook to 42 day walks in the Dartmoor National Park and surrounding area. Dartmoor is an area described as the last great wilderness of England. This Cicerone guide is an excellent introduction to the moor and the national park. The walks have been grouped into four large areas of Dartmoor: The South Moor; Widecombe Walks; The North East Moor; and The North West Moor. Most of the walks are circular and have been graded according to length (short, medium or long) and difficulty (easy, moderate and hard). The guide contains OS maps and photographs for every route.
