With beer barrels lashed together with telegraph poles, and what can only be described as a garden shed for a cabin, the indomitable teenager Dick sets sail one evening for Holland – and it isn’t long before he attracts the attention of the local lifeguard, the press, and TV cameras!
We go back this time to Captain Dick as a young man, full of energy and determined to set sail somewhere, in something. But life takes a very different turn, putting him on the beat with the Ipswich Police with a pretty young wife and two small children at home.
