The Nobility

Carrie Faulkner fails spectacularly when given command of the Milky Way Alliance. Relieved of duty, she is sent back to earth; supposedly for her own good. But someone needs to investigate the source of the unstoppable Bakkui menace. The problem is that a reconnaissance mission behind enemy lines would be suicidal. Sounds like just the thing for someone who has already hit bottom.
