    By Philip Lindsay

    About

King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table were the most noble and chivalrous men in all of literature. Or were they?

Adultery, deceit, murder, and disloyalty plague Camelot.

And even Lancelot, the First among Arthur’s trusted Knights, cannot contain his passions.

After falling desperately in love with King Arthur’s wife, and she with him, Lancelot and Guinevere will stop at nothing to be together…

Even if it means the end of their kingdom...

The Little Wench draws heavily on Arthurian legends of Sir Thomas Malory. Fans of Arthurian novels by Marion Zimmer Bradley and T. H. White will enjoy Lindsay’s work.

    Praise for Philip Lindsay:

Lindsay’s writing, “Ought to interest addicts of the historical novel who should enjoy the better than average writing and the humorous puns that spot the action.” - Kirkus Reviews

Philip Lindsay (1906–1958) was an Australian writer, who mostly wrote historical novels. He was the son of Norman Lindsay, an Australian artist. His novels often treated his subject matter in a dark fashion, with his central characters depicted as brooding, depressed, or disturbed characters. In addition, he did some work for the film industry. He was one of a team of writers on Song of Freedom and Under the Red Robe, and was a technical advisor on The Private Life of Henry VIII. His daughter Cressida went on to become a novelist also.
